It’s been a great week of fishing for inshore, nearshore, and offshore fishing, as winds have died down and our waters have cleaned up. Offshore you can expect a good bite from 80 feet out. Targeting mangrove snappers, all groupers, and porgies will be a sure thing all week.
Nearshore anglers have a mix of opportunities from tripletail, kingfish, all the way to permit and Yes tarpon.
The back bays are full speed now for redfish, big jack crevalle, trout, snook and black drum. Whitebait, shrimp, and cut ladyfish are your goto’s as well as crabs. Remember to pay attention to your tides this week as we’ll have some extended periods of slow-moving water through Thursday.
