We have got some strong winds starting from our South moving clockwise to the North thru Wednesday. The chance off going out deep this week does not look good. Tarpon fishing off the beaches was good all week, but the shift in the wind will make things tough till we talk next week. On a good note the winds will certainly help the incoming tides be stronger in the back bays, so hiding around mangrove islands, rivers, and creeks during these blows will be best. Using pilchards, flies that look like them, or artificials will give those hiding from the wind chances at snook, redfish, and trout.
