With all this fresh water flushing down the Caloosahatchee river, things have been tougher the last few weeks. There are still snook patrolling the beaches and I would recommend running away from the brown fresh water till you find something that resembles salty water. Often as you run North, South, or West you will see a dramatic color change. That’s the fresh water and salt water border. Fish have been hanging on that border along mangroves, deep water drops and a few cuts. Most of the fish are still willing to eat especially live bait, however the early top water on the incoming tide has produced some nice fish. Tight lines
