Redfish seem to be staying on the prowl during all this fresh water run off. Lake Okeechobee has been dumping fresh water down that looks like 7-11 coffee. If you put your time in throwing top water early in the morning, or a Cajin thunder/ DOA combo, you’ve got a great chance to run into a few. Big trout occasionally will crash the party as will a snook, but most of the commotion in the Caloosahatchee river this week will be red and gold in nature. Tight lines g
