Redfish have been readily available on artificial lures this entire week on early morning high tides. After spending the majority of the early mornings fishing for Tarpon, it was great to break the norm and go after something that takes less than 40 minutes to get your hands on. We caught fish from Matlache all the way down to Mantanza pass. Lures like the Yo-zuris crystal minnows, Rapala ultra light minnow, and the old reliable red fish magic series all performed well. So if its blowing to hard to go offshore and chase the silver king, hang out in the mangroves and cast your favorite artificial. Tight lines g
